Of Wounds…

In life we learn many things, we make mistakes, we achieve some things but the worst possible feeling for and from is learning you have let the dearest of people down. Today, I will borrow Ella Wheeler Wilcox’s words:

‘There’s one sad truth in life I’ve found
While journeying east and west –
The only folks we really wound
Are those we love the best.
We flatter those we scarcely know,
We please the fleeting guest,
And deal full many a thoughtless blow
To those who love us best.’

We truly are not architects of our pathways, we are contracted I believe, we are given chance to build, to show, to deal, to give, to bring, to do. What we choose is what brings joy or pain. 😦 To create wounds is painful, to experience wounds is extreme pain, and to realize you have created wounds beyond repair has no description. It is beyond pain…
